Cable Kickbacks

Good tip on how to get the best out of a tricep kickback from Aaron Harris for emazing

Triceps kickbacks are routinely performed using dumbbells. Because of the body position required to work against gravity, the lower third portion of the movement is relatively ineffective to the triceps and places a great deal of stress on the rear delts. By using cables instead of dumbbells, you will drastically increase the intensity and effectiveness of triceps kickbacks. Take the same posture you would for dumbbell kickbacks and use a D-handle attached to the cable exiting the lower pulley. The advantage of a cable and weight stack over dumbbells is the fact there will be resistance against the triceps throughout the entire range of motion, forcing the targeted muscle to work harder. - Aaron Harris
